MCHENRY, Ill., July 20, 2022 – Fujitsu, Follett School Solutions’ longtime partner in Canada, this week formally receives the prestigious Microsoft Education Partner of the Year award for 2022.
For nearly 10 years, Follett and Fujitsu have partnered to deliver the innovative Aspen Student Information System (SIS) to provinces and school districts in Canada. Follett is the developer of Follett Aspen SIS, while Fujitsu provides the SaaS implementation and ongoing support services.
With the implementation of latest new school boards in Ontario this summer, the Fujitsu-Follett team will jointly serve more than 125 school boards representing over 1.7 million students across Canada.

Fujitsu was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards are announced annually prior to the company’s global partner conference, Microsoft Inspire, which is being held this week.
Microsoft recognized Fujitsu for its ongoing efforts in North America and skill in working in collaboration with Microsoft and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) community partners, in particular Follett Aspen SIS, to use Microsoft Azure services to produce outstanding outcomes for education clients in Canada and the United States.
The Fujitsu-Follett partnership sets up and manages the SIS software application, delivery environment and integrated platform with either Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or on-premises solutions, leveraging the Follett Aspen platform in all cases.
