In today’s world, information about everything is available at our fingertips—anytime, anywhere. It’s important to know how to sift through all of it to find resources, determine their value, and synthesize them to arrive at meaning. With the increasing availability of both print and digital resources, it is crucial to understand the tools needed for authentic learning.

We know that many students, like us, start their search with Google. During this session, we’ll show you some effective ways to use Google, as well as Follett tools, to authenticate those searches. Learn how to get the information you are seeking—effectively, efficiently, and safely. We will also review some strategies you can take back to your school and classroom to use immediately with your students.
