CHICAGO, IL – Following a lengthy search process, Chicago Public Schools (CPS) has selected Follett Aspen® SIS for its new student information system (SIS). CPS intends to transition to Follett Aspen® SIS in 2019.
Follett Aspen® SIS will replace the district’s current SIS as well as consolidate multiple other products into a single educational platform. By delivering a flexible, state-of-art solution for hosting and managing student data, Aspen will enable CPS staff to more effectively and efficiently perform their academic and administrative duties.
A mobile-friendly, one-stop application for teachers, administrators, and the school community, Follett Aspen® SIS has many features including a teacher portal, and improved parent and student portal. Follett Aspen® SIS Gradebook, used by teachers to capture attendance and grade information, will offer parents and students timely access through its web-based portal.
